Zierdt Road WorkThe eventual widening project should be coming soon! A 5-lane road widening project should begin soon and be completed by 2012. Expect delays and noise during normal business hours adjacent to our neighborhood when the project begins.
Zierdt Widening
The Alabama DOT presented plans on Nov 29th,2007 for the proposed Zierdt Road widening project. The road is expected to expand the lanes from 2 to 5 beginning at Madison Blvd and extending 1,000 ft south of Martin Road. Read the notes from this meeting captured by the Huntsville Times.
